Meet Sandy
France isn’t just a destination for Sandy. It’s where she was born.
Raised between France and Germany, she grew up with the language, the food, the tiny cultural details, and the everyday rhythm of life there. That kind of familiarity doesn’t fade, even when life takes you far away.
Today, Sandy is a travel advisor, podcast host, and author who believes in transformation through travel, not as a slogan, but as something you actually feel when you step into a new place and return with more clarity, confidence, and perspective. She’s traveled to nearly 40 countries and brings a multicultural lens to every trip she designs.
After all those places, France still has a pull. Especially the south, where things are more grounded, more local, and a little less polished in the best way. Not the postcard version. The real version. Markets, village streets, long lunches, conversations that linger, and places that stay with you.
Travel is also a family thread for her. Sandy’s two kids grew up with that same curiosity and love for exploring the world, and it’s one of the reasons she cares so much about helping others travel with more ease, confidence, and connection.
She knows this part of France. She loves it. And she can’t wait to share it with you.
She loves this part of France and she can’t wait to share it with you.

Meet Katja
Katja was born and raised in Germany, packed 2 suitcases in 1993 to start a new life, in a new to her country, with her then boyfriend Nick. (They've been happily married for 33 years). In over 30 years in the US, she worked different jobs, started a family and together with Nick raised 2 amazing children.
During all this time, she felt like she was living in 2 worlds... life in a fast-paced society was her daily experience, spending time back in Germany with family and friends resurrected the desire for a slower pace of life, what German's call "Gemütlichkeit".
At times, it felt like she had the best of both worlds; in late summer of 2025, the timing seemed right to pack suitcases again and she and Nick settled in the Southwestern part of France, near the Spanish border. Katja is fluent in French and excited to introduce the travelers to her favorite cafés, restaurants, sights and of course, picture spots. She will be at your side to translate; help you communicate with the locals and make sure that everyone feels comfortable and enjoys the trip to the fullest!

6 nights in Perpignan, and 1 night in Andorra, meals, all excursions and entrance fees, private group transportation throughout, and Sandy and Katja as your on-site hosts and translators to keep everything smooth, connected, and fun from start to finish.
All you have to do is show up!

Every Trip Gets Better—And Now I’m Hooked!”
This was my second trip with Sandy and they just keep getting better! Ireland is such a magical place and Sandy helped show us all of the wonderful places this country had to offer. I can’t wait for her next trip and I highly recommend traveling with her to get the most out of your travel experience - anywhere you go! ~ Sarah R.

“Traveling with Sandy Was the Best Decision I Could’ve Made”
As an aged traveler who is working on her bucket list I felt secure in my choice of Sandy as a travel guide. I knew I would be safe and all activities would be top notch. The horseback ride on the beach will never be forgotten.
~ Thalia D.

"My First International Trip Set the Bar Sky-High , Thanks to Sandy!"
Ireland, Off the Beaten Track, was my first international trip. Oh my, I am spoiled!!! I had questions about flights, money exchange, travel insurance, apparel, food, etc. and Sandy happily answered all my questions & even some before I even thought to ask them. While our itinerary was a bit flexible, we all knew where to be & when with no fanfare or stress, communication was great. Because our group were all horsewomen, horses were part of the itinerary, we all enjoyed the mix of horses, Ireland’s beautiful countryside, culture & people. Our accommodations exceeded my expectation & we had excellent meals. Please do not hesitate to travel with Sandy!!! ~ Diane T.

"I Didn’t Want to Come Home—This Trip Redefined What a Vacation Can Be"
What can I say about traveling to Germany with Sandy Jessica Colling - other than it was simply the best trip I've been on thus far in my life. Traveling with Sandy I was able to turn my brain off for 10 whole days, learn about horse culture, improve my riding abilities, and really appreciate my surroundings and the people we were traveling with. This was the first vacation I've ever been on that at the end, I did not want to come home. The trip was so well planned, so well thought out, and exceptionally delivered. I have to say that I have absolutely zero complaints and cannot wait to go on another trip with Sandy. I would simply do it again and again and cannot recommend traveling with this company enough. You will not regret it and you will get the much-needed break that all of us need and seek so desperately. Thank you, Sandy. I really cannot express my gratitude enough. ~ Kim E.
